Berry-Time Once Again

Black RaspberriesThe first black raspberry cobbler of the season has been baked and devoured!  Oh how my family loves fresh black raspberries.  My dad and mom grow the berries in their backyard and dad is the designated picker because after all, there is an art to picking berries (only the ripe, get them all, beat the birds to the berries). The first cobbler is a tradition that signals summer is here and joy abounds.  News travels fast and before you know it, my dining room is filled with hungry cobbler gobblers.  It is served hot out of the oven with premium vanilla ice cream.I will share my family recipe
